Today was "Wear a Tie to School" Day
#2 ~ Today was the 100th day of Pre-School
#3 ~ I took the mattress off Elizabeth's bed to wash the sheets, and she quickly filled the bed up with practically every toy she owns (and was very proud of herself :-)
#4 ~ Getting ready to go...She is wearing the necklace Jerry Griffin gave her from Hawaii, it is made of shells. It is so precious, I don't let her wear it often.
Welcome to our adoption story, which officially begins when we jet off to the Ukraine to meet our daughter, Elizabeth Marie, on Oct. 15th 2005. We hope to keep our family and friends up to date with our daily activities through this blog (stands for web log). We are very blessed to have wonderful support systems...our loving family, friends, and our church family. We want to thank everyone for their prayers and concerns since we began this process in August, 2004 and as we continue our journey.
Five Years Later...
We started this blog when we went to the Ukraine to adopt our daughter Elizabeth in 2005. Five years later we are loving life with our daughter (now 6) and our son, Chris (23). Tom continues to farm and I have the wonderful job of a stay-at-home mother and farm-wife. God has truly blessed us with two wonderful kids, a great new home, all while being surrounded by a terrific family, friends, and church family!
