Welcome to our adoption story, which officially begins when we jet off to the Ukraine to meet our daughter, Elizabeth Marie, on Oct. 15th 2005. We hope to keep our family and friends up to date with our daily activities through this blog (stands for web log). We are very blessed to have wonderful support systems...our loving family, friends, and our church family. We want to thank everyone for their prayers and concerns since we began this process in August, 2004 and as we continue our journey.
Five Years Later...
We started this blog when we went to the Ukraine to adopt our daughter Elizabeth in 2005. Five years later we are loving life with our daughter (now 6) and our son, Chris (23). Tom continues to farm and I have the wonderful job of a stay-at-home mother and farm-wife. God has truly blessed us with two wonderful kids, a great new home, all while being surrounded by a terrific family, friends, and church family!

This morning we stopped by to see our neighbor, Beth Baker, who made the coolest Christmas book for Elizabeth. She had a stuffed 'Babe, The Blue Ox' that Elizabeth just fell in love with and Beth insisted Elizabeth keep it, too. (THANKS BETH!) She just loves this Ox (she thinks it's a cow) and she carries it all over the house). The picture shows Elizabeth, Katrina, and Aaliyah playing with the Ox. They liked to tickle each others nose with its tail.
