Five Years Later...

We started this blog when we went to the Ukraine to adopt our daughter Elizabeth in 2005. Five years later we are loving life with our daughter (now 6) and our son, Chris (23). Tom continues to farm and I have the wonderful job of a stay-at-home mother and farm-wife. God has truly blessed us with two wonderful kids, a great new home, all while being surrounded by a terrific family, friends, and church family!

Christmas Morning 12~25~2006

This is what Elizabeth woke up to on Christmas morning. It is a good thing "Santa" put the Little Tykes kitchen together on Christmas Eve because it took almost an hour and several of the holes were not the right size and had to be drilled out

Needless to say, she LOVES the new kitchenPosted by Picasa

What's for breakfast....

The kitchen came with it's own stool and makes frying and boiling sounds when she's cooking.
Giving daddy some food :-)
Talking on the phone that also came with the kitchenPosted by Picasa

And the unwrapping begins....

Here she is unwrapping a doctor kit, which I call a "Nurse's Kit."

Do you like her new shoes?Posted by Picasa

Mommy must have been good this year, too...
